Caroline is Global Director of Ethics and Business Conduct for Molson Coors Brewing Company. She reports to the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer and has primary responsibility for the Code of Business Conduct and the ethics program, Living Our Values, worldwide. The Living Our Values program was recognized in 2005 when Molson Coors won the 2005 Optimus award for Ethical Practice from Workforce Management. Caroline led a cross-functional team to develop the Company's Code and the Living Our Values website. She is instrumental in developing content and delivering any related Ethics and Compliance training programs. She is also responsible for managing the employee affirmation program, answering questions or reports received over the Ethics and Compliance Helpline, and following up with investigations as necessary.
As Global Project Manager, Caroline successfully led the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 requirements in the US and UK for Coors Brewing Company prior to their merger with Molson. She supervised a large cross-functional team of auditors, consultants and process owners for the duration of the project, ensuring adequacy and consistency in documentation, design and testing of internal controls for all sub-processes included in scope. She developed an effective internal control infrastructure to support management's ongoing monitoring requirements and coordinated external audit efforts on the first Audit of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting to ensure an efficient and successful audit. Her ongoing responsibilities for SOX compliance include oversight of the Company's Fraud Risk Assessment and Anti-Fraud program.
Prior to focusing on Ethics and SOX, Caroline spent a total of 15 years in internal auditing and fraud investigation at Coors Brewing Company, KeyCorp and SunTrust Banks Inc. Caroline has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional. She is a member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, the Compliance and Ethics Leadership Council, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Institute of Internal Auditors. She has participated as a frequent speaker at training seminars and conferences for a variety of professional organizations.
