Joycelyn Ray is Vice President of Corporate Compliance at HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc., a leading international specialty insurance group with offices across the United States and in Bermuda, Spain, Ireland and the United Kingdom.  As Vice President of Compliance, she is responsible for the oversight of regulatory and statutory compliance with all state, federal and international regulations for the entire system.

Prior to joining HCC, Ms. Ray spent more than 13 years as the Chief Compliance Official at several insurance and financial services companies including Berkley Underwriting Partners, WealthSense Securities and CNA Pensions.  Ms. Ray has served as an Adjunct Professor of Business Law and Ethics at several universities and has made guest appearances discussing compliance on nationally televised “The Minority Business Report”.

Ms. Ray received her B.A. from Texas A & M University, her J.D.  from the University of Houston Law Center and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Management from Our Lady of the Lake University.
