Meric Craig Bloch is Vice President – Compliance and Corporate Investigations for Adecco S.A., the world’s leader in human resources and staffing services. Adecco maintains 6,600 locations in over 70 countries and territories.

Mr. Bloch is the compliance officer for Adecco’s divisions in North America. He conducts internal investigations of fraud and serious workplace misconduct, manages the internal-investigations process throughout the company, and trains employees in key internal departments to conduct investigations. Mr. Bloch has extensive professional experience conducting and managing compliance business investigations and in business counseling. He has coordinated a number of his investigations with federal and state law-enforcement officers. Mr. Bloch also served as an expert consultant for the United States Secret Service in an organized-crime prosecution involving one of the largest Mafia families in the United States.

Mr. Bloch is the author of An Insider’s Guide to Workplace Investigations: Build the Process in your Company. He has written a number of articles for the compliance industry on investigations topics. He also is a frequent public speaker on the workplace-investigations process.

Mr. Bloch holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor from New York University. He is admitted to the Bars of New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. Mr. Bloch is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Professional Certified Investigator. He is a licensed private investigator. He is also a reserve police officer with the Livingston, New Jersey Police Department.
