Michael Johnson, is a former senior trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division, where he was hired under the Attorney General's Honors Program. During his time with the Department of Justice, Mr. Johnson investigated and litigated numerous cases against employers across the country. He brought one of the Department of Justice's first "pattern or practice" sexual harassment cases. Through years of litigating cases against employers, Mr. Johnson learned the pitfalls that undermine many employers in lawsuits. Global Compliance’s training is designed to help employers avoid these pitfalls and minimize their exposure to lawsuits and prosecution. Mr. Johnson is recognized among the country's leading experts on conducting lawful and effective internal investigations. In addition to serving as expert witness in cases challenging the adequacy of employer's investigation procedures, Mr. Johnson provides public and on-site seminars around the country for in-house counsel, ethics and compliance officers, labor and employment attorneys, and human resource professionals.

Mr. Johnson is a graduate of Duke University and Harvard Law School.
