Mike Levin holds the newly created role of Director of Business Conduct & Ethics at BAE Systems in Nashua, NH, responsible for creating a robust compliance and ethics function in a $3.5B business sector with more than 8,000 employees across 15 locations in the US and abroad.

A member of his organization’s Leadership Team, Michael directs all aspects of the BAE Systems’ compliance and ethics program, including policy oversight, training and communication, helpline, monitoring and auditing, risk assessment, and the creation of an overall culture of strong business conduct.

From 2001 to 2010, Mike was vice president at Integrity Interactive where he spear-headed the strategy and development of service offerings to benefit corporate compliance and ethics officers, including web-based risk assessment tools and third party due diligence tools.  He helped Integrity develop its Advisory Services function to provide consulting services to chief legal and chief compliance and ethics officers, and worked strategically to grow revenue among Integrity’s largest clients.  In these roles, Michael designed best-practice corporate integrity programs for more than one hundred companies and worked closely with clients located in North America, Europe, and Asia.  Prior to joining Integrity, Michael practiced law in Boston for six years, specializing in litigation. 

Michael’s articles have been published in BusinessWeek.com, Directors & Boards, Metropolitan Corporate Counsel, SCCE’s Compliance & Ethics, Contract Management, and The Sarbanes-Oxley Journal. He has spoken at conferences sponsored by the Practicing Law Institute, Virginia Bar Association, Ethics & Compliance Officers Association, Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, and International Association for Contract and Commercial Management, and he has been a featured presenter in many Webinars on a variety of corporate integrity issues.

Michael has a B.A. from the University of Maryland and a J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law, where he was the Executive Editor of the MSL Law Review. He is a member of the New England Ethics Forum, the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association, and is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional. Michael is admitted to practice law in Federal and State courts of Massachusetts.
